Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Heal2 Pty Ltd collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information for NexusCast.

Last updated: 21 April 2026

Short version: we use personal information to run NexusCast, process accounts and subscriptions, provide rehearsal and AI features, improve reliability, support customers, and keep the service secure.

1. Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how Heal2 Pty Ltd handles personal information for NexusCast, including the website at nexuscast.net, NexusCast accounts, subscriptions, support, and NexusCast apps and services.

In this policy, "NexusCast", "we", "us", and "our" mean Heal2 Pty Ltd as the operator of NexusCast.

2. Personal information we collect

We collect the information needed to provide NexusCast and operate the business. This may include your name, email address, account identifiers, billing status, subscription plan, support messages, and communications with us.

If you join our newsletter or mailing list, we collect your email address, consent record, signup source, selected interests, unsubscribe status, and related technical information such as IP address and user agent for consent, security, and compliance records.

When you use NexusCast, we may process content you choose to upload or create, such as scripts, scene text, rehearsal settings, voice or performance inputs, avatar-related files, device information, usage events, crash reports, and diagnostic logs.

For payments, our payment provider processes payment details. We do not intentionally store complete card numbers or card security codes on NexusCast systems.

3. How we collect information

We collect information directly from you when you create an account, start a subscription, upload scripts, use rehearsal tools, contact support, or otherwise interact with NexusCast.

We also receive information from service providers that help us run NexusCast, including authentication, payment, hosting, analytics, email, support, and AI or media processing providers.

4. How we use information

We use personal information to create and secure accounts, provide rehearsal features, process subscriptions, sync eligible content across devices, deliver support, troubleshoot issues, improve reliability, prevent misuse, comply with legal obligations, and communicate important service updates.

Where you ask to join our mailing list, we use your email address and selected interests to send rehearsal tips, product updates, launch news, offers, surveys, and other marketing communications.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand product performance and improve NexusCast. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Scripts, voice, video, and AI processing

NexusCast is built for rehearsal. Depending on the features you use, scripts, prompts, voice input, video input, avatar files, and rehearsal outputs may be processed to provide AI scene partner, voice, avatar, transcription, feedback, sync, and related features.

Some features may run locally on your device, while cloud features may require content to be transmitted to NexusCast systems or trusted service providers. We use this content to provide the requested feature, maintain the service, and handle support or safety issues.

We do not use private scripts, rehearsal recordings, or avatar uploads to train public AI models unless we clearly tell you and obtain consent where required.

6. When we disclose information

We disclose personal information to service providers that help us operate NexusCast, such as authentication providers, payment processors, hosting providers, analytics providers, email and support tools, and AI, speech, avatar, or media processing providers.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect the security or integrity of NexusCast, to investigate fraud or misuse, to enforce our terms, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructure, or sale of all or part of our business.

7. Overseas disclosures

Heal2 Pty Ltd is based in Australia. Some service providers we use may process or store information outside Australia, including in the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Singapore, or other countries where those providers or their infrastructure operate.

Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to use providers and arrangements that are appropriate for the nature of the information and the services being provided.

8. Cookies and analytics

NexusCast may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, protect the service, measure site performance, and understand how the website is used.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect sign-in, checkout, or account features.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure.

No internet service is completely secure. You should use a strong password, protect your email account, and keep your devices secure.

10. Retention

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed to provide NexusCast, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent misuse, and enforce agreements.

When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete, de-identify, or securely retain it according to applicable legal and operational requirements.

11. Access, correction, and deletion requests

You may request access to personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or request deletion where available under applicable law.

We may need to verify your identity before actioning a request. Some information may need to be retained for legal, security, billing, dispute, or backup reasons.

12. Marketing communications

We may send product updates, onboarding messages, billing notices, security notices, and support communications. Where required, marketing emails will include a way to unsubscribe.

You can join the NexusCast newsletter without creating an account. If you later create or already have an account using the same email address, we may link your newsletter preference to your account so you can manage communication preferences more easily.

When you unsubscribe from marketing emails, we keep a record of the unsubscribe request so we can honour it and avoid re-adding you unintentionally.

Even if you unsubscribe from marketing, we may still send transactional or service messages about your account, subscription, security, or important product changes.

13. Children

NexusCast is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us without appropriate consent, contact us so we can review the issue.

14. Data breaches

If we become aware of a data breach involving personal information, we will assess it and take steps required by applicable law. Where required, we will notify affected individuals and the relevant regulator.

15. Complaints

If you have a privacy concern, contact us first so we can investigate and respond. Please include enough detail for us to understand the issue and the account or service involved.

If you are in Australia and are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices, services, providers, or legal obligations change. The updated version will be posted at nexuscast.net/privacy with a new last updated date.
