Short version: cancelling stops the next renewal. Monthly access continues until the next monthly renewal date, yearly access continues until the next yearly renewal date, and refunds are handled under this policy and applicable law.
1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains how Heal2 Pty Ltd handles refunds, cancellations, trials, and subscription access for NexusCast.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, warranty, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
2. Trials
If your plan includes a free trial, you can cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged for the paid subscription.
If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription will start and your payment method may be charged according to the plan and billing cycle selected at checkout.
3. Monthly subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. If you cancel, your subscription will normally remain active until the next monthly renewal date, then it will not renew.
Cancelling a monthly subscription does not automatically create a refund or credit for unused time in the current billing period.
4. Yearly subscriptions
Yearly subscriptions are billed once per year in advance. If you cancel, your subscription will normally remain active until the next yearly renewal date, then it will not renew.
Cancelling a yearly subscription does not automatically create a refund or credit for unused time in the current annual billing period.
5. When refunds may be available
We will provide refunds, repairs, replacements, resupply, or other remedies where required by applicable law, including the Australian Consumer Law.
We may also consider goodwill refunds case by case, including where there has been a duplicate charge, billing error, technical issue that prevented reasonable use of NexusCast, or other exceptional circumstance.
Goodwill refunds are not guaranteed and may depend on the plan, usage, timing, billing history, payment processor rules, tax treatment, and the reason for the request.
6. When refunds are usually not provided
Subject to your legal rights, we usually do not provide refunds because you changed your mind, forgot to cancel before renewal, no longer need the service, did not use the service, selected the wrong billing cycle, or cancelled part way through a monthly or yearly billing period.
This does not affect any rights you may have if NexusCast fails to meet a consumer guarantee or if a charge was made in error.
7. How to request a refund
To request a refund, contact billing@nexuscast.net with the email address on your NexusCast account, the invoice or payment reference if available, the plan purchased, and the reason for the request.
We may ask for additional information to verify the account, investigate the issue, and determine the appropriate remedy.
8. Refund method and timing
Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method through our payment processor. Your bank, card provider, or payment provider may take additional time to make the funds available.
Refunded amounts may exclude taxes, currency conversion differences, bank fees, or third-party payment fees where those amounts cannot be recovered or must be handled separately, subject to applicable law.
9. Chargebacks and disputes
If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us first so we can investigate quickly. If you lodge a payment dispute or chargeback, we may provide evidence to the payment processor and your bank.
We may suspend access while a charge is disputed if the dispute affects an active subscription or creates payment uncertainty.
10. Subscription changes
If you upgrade, downgrade, or change billing cycles, the checkout or billing portal will show the applicable price and renewal details before you confirm the change where required.
Any credits, prorations, or immediate charges depend on the subscription change, payment processor settings, and applicable law.
11. Updates
We may update this Refund Policy when our plans, billing practices, payment providers, or legal obligations change. The updated version will be posted at nexuscast.net/refunds with a new last updated date.
